The first couple weeks of Wonky Felt were a bit haphazard and random. I had not yet developed the idea of doing a weekly theme. Each scene was a quick, overnight idea, with no real storyline. Because the floor hole itself was still relatively new, no one was certain whether it would be repaired in the near future.

The characters in some of the early scenes included Mustard Dog, Domo, and Pusheen. Mustard Dog is an original creation, while Domo and Pusheen were outside inspirations. Mustard Dog and Domo together made a nice Laurel and Hardy-esque pair.

You’ll also notice in the early scenes that various non-Wonky objects appear. These were goofy additions added directly from peoples’ desks as contributions to the daily scene.

Fun Fact: The Summer Barbecue seen did actually spur random debates about what the hot dog was actually cooking and whether hamburger was appropriate for the hot dog to eat.
